Devils Lake Fishing Report August 21 to 27, 2016

The good fishing continues here at Devils Lake, North Dakota as these photos of our happy clients show. Good limits of eater size walleyes are the norm with a number of larger walleyes being released. Spinners and bouncers with crawlers or gulp and trolling crankbaits have been the best two games in town.


Devils Lake Fishing Report for the Week of August 7th to August 13, 2016

Walleye fishing has been very good this past week. From the many reports of our MGS guides and visiting anglers, very good may have been an understatement. This big frog pond we call the Devils Lake System continues to produce excellent catches for walleye anglers who are willing to work at unlocking the secrets of this diverse fishery.


Devils Lake Fishing Report July 31 to August 6, 2016

Well another fishing week of summer fun is in the books at Devils Lake, North Dakota and what a week it was. Anglers brought in very good catches of 15 to 22 inch walleyes. In addition there were quite a few reports of anglers catching and releasing larger walleyes.


Devils Lake Fishing Report – Week of July 17 to the 23rd, 2016

This last week saw the best bite in years for most anglers fishing the Devils Lake system. Smiling faces were the norm for anglers and fish photo’s abounded on social media. Excellent catches of eater walleyes with larger walleyes being released have been common. Personally it may be the best bite I have seen in the last five years of guiding here.
